To be able to reset your password if forgotten, you must first register on the Microsoft System. Once we enable this service for you, the next time you log into Microsoft you will be prompted to set this up.
1) Log in to https://office.com and enter your email address and password as usual:
2) You will receive a More information required window. Click on Next:
3) You need to set up at least 1 of the options. You can set up 2 or all 3, for example, in case you need to reset your password but don't have access to your mobile phone, which also gives access to a personal email address:
Option1 - Authentication Phone. Enter your mobile phone number and we recommend "text me", and then enter the verification code sent by text message:
Option 2 - Authentication Email. Enter your personal email address and verify the code sent to that address:
Option 3 - Security Questions. All 5 are required (do not use these answers):
All done! Click on Finish. Now, if ever you forget your password go to this website https://passwordreset.microsoftonline.com/
and you will be asked to select your method for verification:
