Microsoft and Apple have the two best ‘hand recognition’ touchscreens around at the moment and therefore there is a useful setting that the surface pro has to disable palm or finger detection when the stylus is being used (the surface pro knows the difference between a stylus and your finger). This stops your hand resting on the screen and messing around with the inking.
- Press the windows key and then type “pen”. Click on the ‘pen and windows ink settings’ that it suggests for you:
- Make sure the red circled box is ticked (“ignore touch input when I’m using my pen”) then you’re done!
