Welcome to our support

We use an email filter system to protect against spam, phishing and malicious emails being delivered to your inbox. While this does an excellent job of protecting us all, some legitimate emails do get quarantined. Follow these instructions to setup daily email notifications of quarantined emails (or disable notifications).

Note that all staff and students now have quarantine email notifications configured by default. Users can change the timings or disabled notification emails (not recommended).

Browse to https://spam.stgeorgesweybridge.com and enter your email address:

And enter your usual password if prompted:

Go to the top right-hand corner, click on your name and then click on View Profile:

Then click on the Pencil icon to edit your profile:

To enable alerts, tick the Quarantine Report box, and we recommend accepting the default times. If you want to disable these notifications, untick the Quarantine Report box. You can, of course, change to your own preferred delivery times. Leave the Spam Scores blank to use the default settings:

Click on Save and then log off.

You will now receive, or not receive if disabled, daily email notifications of quarantined emails.

If enabled, when these arrive in your inbox, you can decide whether to release a quarantined email or ignore it.

Please note the following important points:

  • Only release an email if you are sure the email is not spam, or malicious, and from a known sender. If in doubt, check with the Service Desk that the email is safe.
  • There is no way to delete quarantined emails. If you suspect an email is spam, or malicious, and not from a known sender, just ignore it. The email will be deleted automatically after 30 days.
  • If you receive emails to a shared mailbox, we in IT Services can set up the notifications (if not already set up), but you will have to contact us to release emails in quarantine.
  • And finally: you will not be able to release an email with a password protected attachment. If this is the case, email us with the details and we can check the email is safe and release if safe to do so.
