Accessing SIMS Connected
Double Click on the Short Cut on your Desktop
OR
Browse to: https://id.sims.co.uk – to log in. We recommned adding this to your Favourites. Do not use the old SIMS link! It will not work.
You will receive your login details via email.
At your first logon only, you will be prompted to set 3 security questions, this will allow you to reset your own password in the event of you forgetting it:
Select from the “Select Security Question” drop down lists, and enter your answer in the adjacent field (Please note, answers ARE case sensitive!)
Type/Paste in your password (this is the initial one supplied by your Site Administrator) then click Save.
You will then be presented with the Change Password screen, type/paste in your initial password, then enter your new password, The requirements for your new password are:
- At least one capital letter
- At least one number
- At least one special character
- At least 8 characters
Click Save and Continue. You will now be presented with the Launcher page. Click on the purple SIMS Connected box to proceed:
And finally, at the SIMS Application Launcher window, double click on the SIMS icon, or select SIMS and click on Launch – ‘SIMS’
You will then be presented with SIMS in your Browser Window, and you can use SIMS as you always have done.
