Bring your own Windows laptop to the School? Here's how to get it connected to our BYOD (Bring your own device) wireless network. Note you do NOT need to do this if you have been allocated a School Surface Pro or Laptop.
1) In the System Tray, click on the Wi-Fi icon and select St George's Connect:
2) And tick Connect automatically before clicking on Connect:
3) Once connected, click on Open browser and connect:
4) This will open your default browser and should redirect to https://connect.stgeorgesweybridge.com/. Ensure the I agree.... box is ticked and click on Start:
5) Enter your username and password:
6) Choose a Device name and click on Continue:
7) Download the .exe for Windows file:
8) And Open file when downloaded:
9) You should see this Window:
10) Click Yes to install the certificates:
11) And hopefully you will see this:
12) And finally, go back to your Wi-Fi settings and connect to St George's BYOD.
