To be run after initially connecting to the TP_LINK devices in the AC
- Click on the Start button (Windows icon) in the taskbar or press Windows + I on your keyboard to open the Settings window.
- In the Settings window, select Bluetooth & Devices from the left-hand menu.
- Ensure that Bluetooth is turned on. You’ll see a list of your paired devices under Devices.
- Scroll down and locate the Bluetooth audio device you want to rename.
- Click on the three dots next to the device name to open the context menu.
- From the dropdown menu, click on Properties. This will open the device’s settings.
- At the top of the Device Properties window, you will see the current name of the device.
- Click on the pencil icon next to the device name.
- Type in the name of the room you are in to match the room to the device on your Surface.
- Once you’ve entered the new name, click Rename or press Enter to save the changes.
