Ever wanted to quickly and easily cut and paste something from your screen into a document or email without having to press ‘print screen’ and then edit out the edges that you don’t need?!

 

Press the WINDOWS KEY, then the LEFT SHIFT key and then the ‘S’ key (one by one in that order, but keep them held down).  The screen will dim itself and you can then select any part of your screen which will then ‘copied’.  By default it will let you drag and choose a square, but you ca change it to free-form select if you really want using the menu at the top of the screen.  Whatever area you select, you can now paste that image!
